Description
This 3-hour course provides real estate brokers with essential knowledge and practices for effective risk management. It covers key areas of broker responsibility, including advertising compliance, contract review, and trust account management, along with licensee supervision, support personnel utilization, record keeping, and GREC regulations. By understanding common violations and implementing sound policies, brokers can mitigate risks, ensure legal compliance, and maintain business integrity." THIS COURSE SATISFIES THE GREC REAL ESTATE LICENSE LAW EDUCATION REQUIREMENT. (This course provides Real Estate Instructor CE credit.)
Cancellation and No Show Policy. There are no refunds (for paid events) for cancellations once the 48 hour countdown to the event begins. Prior to the 48 hour window, cancellations are subject to the terms of that course and or event. For complementary events (education, luncheons, etc.) cancellation within the 48 hour window prior to the event start time, and no-show registrants will be subject to a fee for said event, pursuant to event costs, based on per person rate. This varies per event. RCAR upholds a Code of Conduct for all members and individuals attending RCAR-sponsored events and classes. By registering for this event, you are agreeing to abide by this Code of Conduct. The RCAR Member Code of Conduct establishes standards for member behavior during RCAR-related activities, events, and communications. It applies broadly to actions that impact RCAR, excluding purely private matters. Members are required to maintain a respectful, professional environment free from abuse, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Key Provisions: Abusive Conduct : Prohibited behaviors include profanity, threats, derogatory remarks, and actions intended to harm or humiliate others. Feedback is welcomed but must align with the Code. Discrimination : Discrimination based on protected characteristics (e.g., race, gender, disability, etc.) is forbidden. Harassment : Includes unwelcome behavior that creates a hostile environment, such as derogatory remarks, physical misconduct, or inappropriate communications. Sexual Harassment : Covers unwelcome advances, requests for sexual favors, and any behavior creating a sexually hostile environment. Reporting and Investigation: Violations should be reported to RCAR leadership or the Chief Executive Officer. Investigations are conducted by an independent party, ensuring confidentiality and fairness. Members must cooperate fully with investigations. Disciplinary Actions: RCAR may impose penalties, including suspension, removal from leadership roles, or expulsion. Retaliation against individuals who report violations is strictly prohibited. RCAR retains the authority to address violations as necessary and disclaims liability for members’ independent actions. This Code emphasizes professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to a welcoming environment.
